WHEN: August 24-29, 2024

WHAT: The 38th National Veterans Golden Games (NVGAG) are looking for energetic, dedicated individuals who will volunteer their time and talents which are essential to the success of the Games. VA Salt Lake City Health Care System, Salt Lake City, Utah will host Veteran athletes 55 years of age and older who will compete in 19 medal sporting events. We look forward to you volunteering in support of this year's Games.

Volunteers Will Receive:

• 38th NVGAG Volunteer T-shirt
• 1 (one) meal or meal voucher per shift

• Basketball (3 on 3 and Free Throw Competitions)

• Disc Golf (Wheelchair Exhibition)

• Nine Ball
• Pickleball
• Pickleball (Wheelchair Exhibition)

Volunteer Assignments:

• Shifts are approximately 4-6 hours.
• Volunteers must be 5 years of age or older
  • 5-13 years of age permitted if accompanied by a parent or guardian for the entire duration of the volunteer shift
  • 14-17 years of age can volunteer independently with parental consent
    • Download the Youth Volunteer Parental Consent Form and be prepared to present the signed form at your first volunteer shift.
